Who is Bridges 613?

 

Elizabeth Gossage

is the founder and director of Bridges 613. Her life’s experiences and educational background have led her to start Bridges 613. She is committed to continuity of Jewish life and helping build and renew strong and innovative Jewish relationships. She’d like to be a messenger of hope for the continuity of Jewish life. Elizabeth had taught both in Jewish and non-Jewish educational settings for over twenty years. As an educator, Elizabeth considers herself a lifelong learner and has spent much of her life learning about and examining what it means to be a Jew in the United States. Bridges 613 is mostly inspired by Elizabeth’s master’s degree in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. Elizabeth has been in leadership roles for numerous organizations in the Jewish community, including Hadassah, Reboot, AZM Chicago, JUF Chicago, The Shabbat Project Chicago, and she’s on the executive board at her local synagogue. She feels her extensive involvement in the Jewish community has fortified her commitment to the Jewish continuity. Elizabeth has big dreams for the Jewish Community. Contact Elizabeth.
